Deployment Management Service for DataProtector

Goals of the Service
The objective of this service is to develop a workable plan for deploying DataProtector clients to your end-user population quickly and efficiently to meet your project objectives.

Services delivered:

  • Evaluate
    We will gather details of the environment, user base, implementation plan, schedule and infrastructure, and discuss possible Connected configurations.
  • Discover
    Together with you, we will determine the various environment touch points that could positively or adversely impact the deployment of the DataProtector solution within your environment.
  • Develop Achievability Matrix
    We may develop an "achievability" matrix, used to prioritize the areas of negative impact or effectively utilize the areas of positive impact.
  • Develop Scope of Ownership and Deployment Plan
    Based on the outcome of the "achievability" matrix, the availability of resources and the selected role of Connected Professional Services, the project team will determine next steps for solidifying a deployment plan and achieving the goal of the engagement.
  • Communicate and Educate on a Connected Solution
    Work with the project team to educate end users on the Connected solution. We can assist with developing effective documents, presentations and technical instructions.
  • Implement Deployment Plan
    Based on the Scope of Ownership, Connected will work with you on agreed tasks and begin implementing the Deployment Plan. This includes developing:
    • Communication plans, pilot plans and deployment work plans,
    • Effective deployment strategies and techniques, and
    • Monitoring and reporting.

Deliverables
The key deliverable of this Service is assurance that your DataProtector clients are being deployed effectively. The service can also be used to ‘jump start’ a difficult deployment. In either case, it is our intention to provide measurable results within a specified time period.

Scheduling
Depending on the scale of your deployment, three or more resource days will be required to complete the agreed objectives. To plan Deployment Services, please contact your Systems Engineer. In some cases, the Systems Engineer may bring in a Consultant to develop a customized Statement of Work specifying the parameters for the engagement.

A valid Sales Order must be generated before Professional Services can be scheduled.
